Gilbert Bryant
1987- Parents: Patrick Bryant and Regina (Williams) Bryant Siblings: Hayley Bryant, Lacy Bryant (twin), Micah Bryant, Connor Clark (adopted) Occupation: Exclusive Jewelry Designer Bio: Gilbert is the prodigal son of Lavender Shores. As a member of one of the remaining founding families, the basic expectation is to love your town and your heritage. Gilbert has never been one to follow the rules, a trait that has gotten him into trouble more times than he can count. As a result, Lavender Shores has lost all its charms for Gilbert, not that he’s certain it ever had any. Though he loves his family, all other aspects of his childhood home represent nothing more than gossip, rumors, judgment, and demons from the past. He moved away the minute he could, and if it were up to him, he’d never look back. Unfortunately, everyone he loves is still in Lavender Shores. Maybe even the one he’s meant to spend his life with. |
Lacy Bryant
1987- Parents: Patrick Bryant and Regina (Williams) Bryant Siblings: Hayley Bryant, Gilbert Bryant (twin), Micah Bryant, Connor Clark (adopted) Occupation: High School Art Teacher and Photographer Bio: Lacy is the opposite of her twin, Gilbert. She loves Lavender Shores and can’t imagine wanting to live anywhere else. Her father is constantly pressuring her to get married and give him more grandchildren, but Lacy feels her older sister has that job more than under control. She gets more than enough time with children at her job. And any time outside of work that her family doesn’t devour, she gives to her passion of photography and launching a line of Point Reyes National Seashore cards, calendars, and limited edition prints. |
Micah Bryant
1993- Parents: Patrick Bryant and Regina (Williams) Bryant Siblings: Hayley Bryant, Gilbert Bryant & Lacy Bryant (twins), Connor Clark (adopted) Occupation: Organic Farmer and part owner of The Green Violin (with Adrian Rivera) Bio: Micah enjoys Lavender Shores enough, much more than his older brother, in any case. But, really, it’s the seashore and forest he loves, and his plot of land that he’s turning into a fairly profitable business with organic produce and chickens. Though he travels to the city every so often to dance and meet his base needs, he’s more satisfied being alone in nature, tending the garden, and caring for any animal that crosses his path. Plus, the nights he spends in someone else’s arms only highlight that he can never have the one man he wants more than any other. The man he’s wanted for as long as he can remember. |
Patrick Bryant
1959- Spouse: Regina (Williams) Bryant, 1982 Children: Hayley Bryant, Gilbert Bryant, Lacy Bryant, Micah Bryant, and Connor Clark Occupation: Owner of the Lavender Gallery, Lavender Music, and on the board of Lavender Hospital and the city council Bio: Patrick was born in Lavender Shores and is the remaining patriarch of the Bryant branch of the founding families. He is a loving and devoted husband and father. Though he is serious and straight-laced, he adores his left-of-center wife and enjoys a close relationship with his best friend since childhood, Debbra Kelly. He sees himself as the gatekeeper of all things Lavender Shores related. |
Regina (Williams) Bryant
1961- Spouse: Patrick Bryant, m. 1982 Children: Hayley Bryant, Gilbert Bryant, Lacy Bryant, Micah Bryant, and Connor Clark Occupation: Owner of Lavender Realty Bio: Although Regina loves her life in Lavender Shores, she still carries the big, blonde hair of her Texas roots, as well as pastel power suits with exaggerated shoulder pads better suited to decades gone by. She is outspoken and demonstrates poor personal boundaries, but only because she has yet to meet anyone she doesn’t love. She’s the life of the party. Especially on Tuesdays when her book club gathers—there tends to be a higher quantity of wine drinking and gossip than actual discussions of literature. |
Donovan Carlisle
1977- Parents: John (Carlisle) Epstein and Wanda (Betts) Carlisle Siblings: Shawn Carlisle, Nick Epstein, Will Epstein, Erica Epstein Occupation: Therapist Bio: Donovan spent years away from Lavender Shores while getting his undergrad and masters degree in San Francisco. He was only going to return home for a limited time and then set out on his life once more, but thing after thing keeps him in town. He's a master at helping others to seize life, their full potential, and face their demons. And if every once in a while, he longs for a man that makes him question his sanity, well, he just forces those feelings away. Good mental health be damned. |
Omar Castle
1939-2003 Spouse: Pete Marks, m. 1996 Children: No human children, but several very spoiled bloodhounds Occupation: Co-Owner of Lavender Leaves Coffee & Tea Bio: The first twenty-six years of Omar’s life was spent in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a homebody, quiet, and shy. It only made sense that he’d fall for the loud, handsome spitfire the first day when Pete started working at the textile factory. After five years together, his dreamer of a partner convinced him to sell everything they owned, quit his job, and move back to Pete's childhood home, a place that was a safe haven for homosexuals like them. Lavender Shores was provided a life this midwestern man never even considered a possibility. For the next thirty-eight years, he lived a happier life than he’d ever hoped for as he helped Pete run his tea and coffee house. He died peacefully of an aneurism in his sleep at the age of 64. He now watches over his sweet Pete, and cares for generation after generation of bloodhounds, as he waits to be reunited with his love. |
Connor Clark
1989- Parents: Patrick Bryant and Regina (Williams) Bryant (Adopted) James and Sarah Clark (Bio Parents) Siblings: Hayley Bryant, Gilbert Bryant & Lacy Bryant (twins), Micah Bryant Occupation: Tattoo Artist, owner of Lavender Ink Bio: As a kid, Connor was one of the few students enrolled in the Lavender Shores school who didn't live in town. His parents chose the school due to its better ratings and college prep classes. However, when Connor came out in his teen years, his parents were not accepting and he was forced to take part in reparative therapy. When therapy failed, he was disowned, which was the biggest blessing in disguise, as he was adopted by the Bryants. Showing just how truly loving they were, when Connor chose to become a tattoo artist and open a tattoo parlor in Lavender Shores, both the Bryants and the Kellys stood beside him, even though the Epstein family tried to block his shop. Connor designed the Lavender Shores tattoo that all the Bryants and the Kellys have. Connor will not give love a try. He’d like to, but doing so would betray his beloved family. |
Ethan Epstein
2011- Parents: Spencer (Barton) Epstein and Erica Epstein Sibling: Emma Epstein Bio: Ethan is rather like a large puppy. Loveable, excited, and a bit of klutz. It takes a lot to keep the smile from Ethan’s face. Like his sister, he hero worships his uncle Donovan. He also hopes to be just like his dad when he grows up. He likes Wild Kratts on TV, and has yet to meet a bug he doesn’t love. His favorite foods are pizza and ice cream. |
Emma Epstein
2009- Parents: Spencer (Barton) Epstein and Erica Epstein Sibling: Ethan Epstein Bio: Emma is the more serious of the Epstein children, an aspect that only increases as she gets older. She is surrounded by family that loves her, but her favorite is her uncle Donovan. Her best subject at school is science, she hates sweet pickles, and loves the My Little Pony cartoon (though she doesn’t let her friends know that at school, that stopped being cool in 3rd grade). She loves riding on the Epstein Founding Family float during the town Pride parade. |
Erica Epstein
1987- Parents: John (Carlisle) Epstein and Kimberly Epstein Siblings: Donovan Carlisle, Shawn Carlisle, Nick Epstein, Will Epstein Spouse: Spencer (Barton) Epstein Children: Emma Epstein, Ethan Epstein Occupation: Homemaker Bio: Erica relishes being from a founding family, especially being the youngest and only female of the Epstein line. Although beautiful and intelligent, she often finds her self-worth through condescending and sometimes cruelty towards those she sees as weaker or less than herself. She treasures her children and many other members of her family. |
Spencer (Barton) Epstein
1980- Parents: Thomas Barton and Julie (Mays) Barton Spouse: Erica Epstein Children: Emma Epstein, Ethan Epstein Occupation: Lawyer Bio: Spencer’s father is a preacher at a conservative mega church in Oregon. As such, Lavender Shores was never seen as a ‘good’ place. After a night in town where he meets his future wife and mother of his children, the reputation of Lavender Shores doesn’t matter so much. He commutes to San Francisco every day for work, adores his children, is a faithful and good husband, and shoves any feelings, thoughts, or emotions down deep that might get in the way of any of the things he’s supposed to be. |
John (Carlisle) Epstein
1942- Spouse: Betsy (Griffin) Carlisle (Divorced), Wanda (Betts) Carlisle, (Divorced), Kimberly Epstein Children: Donovan Carlisle, Shawn Carlisle, Nick Epstein, Will Epstein, Erica Epstein Occupation: Wealth Management and Investment Mogul Bio: The Donald Trump of Lavender Shores--the old white man who gives old white men a bad name. Born into the Carlisle founding family of Lavender Shore, after ending his first marriage through and affair, he opted to leave his second marriage, while his wife was pregnant with their second child for his pregnant Epstein mistress. Now he can claim rights to two Found Families. He's in it for the glory, money, power, and sex. |
Kimberly Epstein
1962- Spouse: John (Carlisle) Epstein Children: Nick Epstein, Will Epstein, Erica Epstein Occupation: Socialite Bio: There might not be cameras on her, but Kimberly takes her role as Queen Bee of the Real Housewives of Lavender Shores very seriously. When things are going well between them, she and her BFF/Friendime, Lucy Rivera can crank out the gossip and a party to end the ages. When things are going well, then get ready for fireworks. Despite her drama and selfish manner, she truly does love her three children and her two grandchildren. She's just... a lot to handle. |
Will Epstein
1983- Parents: John (Carlisle) Epstein and Kimberly Epstein Siblings: Donovan Carlisle, Shawn Carlisle, Nick Epstein, Erica Epstein Occupation: Wealth Management / Reality TV Star Bio: Will is his father's golden child, his Mini-Me. He is very much in invested in his role as a founding family member, and, even more specifically, his role as an Epstein. Though he's constantly strived for physical and social perfection, bit-by-bit, he's staring to realize his life is missing something--a something that so many other around him seem to be discovering. He may have to lose everything to find what he needs the most. |
Harrison Getty
1989- Siblings: Jasper Getty Occupation: Ex-Pro Football Player / Model / Reality TV Star Bio: Harrison is quintessential all-American man. He plays football for the Tennessee Titans... or at least he did until his knee injury. Still, he's got that whole model perfect thing going for him--a literal model perfect thing. As a kid, he damped his own sexuality, even his personality, so that he could keep his father's attention on him, all to give his little brother the safety to be himself. Now, however, Harrison is paying the price. When a sex tape outs him to the world, the answer to all his needs may be waiting for him in Lavender Shores. |
Jasper Getty
1994- Siblings: Harrison Getty Occupation: Owns Lavender Pages (bookshop) Bio: After an abusive relationship ends, Jasper escaped to Lavender Shores and opens his dream bookshop, with the financial help of his football star brother. For the first time in his life, he is truly content, truly happy, and has almost everything he's ever wanted. He's safe and he's home. But... despite all that's been done for him, and all he's done for himself, everything threatens to come unraveled. |
Mabel Jessup
1956- Spouse: Sapphire Wong Children: None. Occupation: Owner of Mable’s Restaurant Bio: Mable came to Lavender Shores as a teenager. She’d come out to her parents, who were a pastor and his church secretary. After a couple years of torment, she was allowed to move to Lavender Shores with her gay uncles, Steve Redd and Able Epstein. Able was one of sone of a founding family of the town, which was a fast pass to acceptance for Mabel. She and her restaurant have become fixtures of the town, and her talent as a chef is highly acclaimed. Her cookbooks are in bookstores across the nation. |
Andrew Kelly
1984- Parents: Robert (Price) Kelly and Debbra Kelly Siblings: Lamont Price and Heather Kelly Occupation: Works at Lavender Realty, commercial real estate Bio: Andrew Kelly is often called the mascot of Lavender Shores. There is no place on earth he loves more. When other kids dreamed of leaving the small town while they were growing up, Andrew wanted nothing more than to stay right where he was. As a descendent of one of the founding families, he’s now a junior member of the city council. He’s at home at the steep cliffs of the palisade and dreams of finding a man to build a home with and to raise a family. If that dream happens to come with a white picket fence and a dog, then that would be even better. After multiple failed long term relationships, that dream is barely hanging by a thread. Book: The Palisade |
Debbra Kelly
1954- Spouse: Alan (Smith) Kelly (1950-1979) m. 1977 Robert (Price) Kelly m. 1981 Children: Lamont Price, Heather Kelly, and Andrew Kelly Occupation: ex-Mayor of Lavender Shores, currently head of the town council Bio: Debbra is the matriarch of the Kelly branch of the Lavender Shores founding family. She is staid, proper, and takes great pride in her town, her heritage, and her family. Her first marriage was brief and ended when her husband was killed in a car wreck, but she still sees his legacy in their daughter, Heather. Though Lamont is technically her stepchild, she counts him as much of her blood as her other two children, even if he didn’t take the Kelly name. Though at times embarrassed by her flamboyant husband Robert, she loves his passion and how he balances her out. When he gets to be too much, though, she often commiserates with her childhood best friend, Patrick Bryant. |
Heather Kelly
1979- Parents: Robert (Price) Kelly and Debbra Kelly Siblings: Lamont Price and Andrew Kelly Occupation: Part owner of Blue Blossom Bed & Breakfast, oversees the kitchen Bio: Heather left Lavender Shores long enough to get a degree in hospitality. Though she didn’t come back with a husband like her mother had hoped (the desire for grandchildren is strong in the founding families), she is more than satisfied living life on her own--as if a Kelly is ever actually on their own. Plus, the Bed & Breakfast is her baby, her pride and joy, and an asset to the town. Occasionally, she has to remind her business partner, Seth Marino, that their hotel isn’t there for the sole purpose of him hooking up with the hottest tourists in town, but some of his stories definitely make life more fun. |
Morris (Kelly)
2017- Parent: Andrew Kelly and Joel Rhodes Siblings: Brook and Robin Occupation: Mascot of Lavender Realty and Puppy Proofer Inspector Bio: Morris has a lot to live up to since he was named for a founder of Lavender Shores. He’s not too stressed about it, though, as he’s a bit preoccupied trying to keep up with his growing feet, legs, and new home. To top it off, just when he was settling into things, he got two new brothers. Luckily, Morris has an unlimited supply of love. The best part of each day is when he walks through the lavender that grows along the cliffs of the palisade with his daddy, Andrew—especially when there’s a herd of elk to chase! |
Robert (Price) Kelly
1957- Spouse: Debbra Kelly, m. 1981 Children: Lamont Price, Heather Kelly, and Andrew Kelly Occupation: Artist, Musician, Poet, and unofficial town-greeter Bio: Robert is a free spirit. A self-proclaimed flower child, even if he mostly missed the movement. He is flirtatious and outrageous, and has an affinity for fancy male underwear. His first child, Lamont was born out of a polyamorous relationship that lasted a little more than year. Lamont’s mother and the other male member of their threesome left Robert and the newborn and never looked back. Robert has found happiness in Lavender Shores and adores his wife, Debbra. However, when he sees he’s wearing on her last nerve, he runs off to find his best friend, Regina Bryant to stir up some trouble, and once in a while, brings a bottle of schnapps to her Tuesday book club. |
Seth Marino
1980- Parents: Angelo Marino and Jina (Parisi) Marino Siblings: Sebastian Marino Occupation: Part Owner of Blue Blossom Bed and Breakfast, oversees the bar Bio: Seth met Heather Kelly when he while getting his hospitality degree. The two of them became best friends. He started visiting her family when she returned home for vacations. He fell in love with Lavender Shores. The place was gorgeous and a gay safe haven, what wasn’t to love? When Heather came up with the idea of the two of them opening a bed and breakfast together, he jumped at the chance. Owning his own place is better than he ever dreamed. Why? Well, sure Blue Blossom is pretty perfect, but the endless stream of hot gay tourists looking for a good time for a night or two keeps Seth more than satisfied. |
Pete Marks
1942- Spouse: Omar Castle, (deceased), m. 1996 Children: None of the human variety, but has been the proud daddy to several bloodhounds through the years—currently, Ruby. Occupation: Owner of Lavender Leaves Coffee & Tea Bio: Pete was born in Lavender Shores, but moved away to see a different part of the world after high school. Almost on a whim, he took a job in a textiles factory in Kansas City, Missouri, which was where he met his husband in 1960. Having found the love of his life, and experiencing the discrimination that happened outside of his hometown, he brought his husband back to Lavender Shores. He opened a beautiful coffee shop with Omar’s help. Pete still visits Omar’s grave every evening on the way home from Lavender Leaves to fill him in on the town gossip. |
Ruby (Marks)
2014- Parent: Pete Marks Occupation: Protector and current mascot of Lavender Leaves Coffee & Tea Bio: Ruby has grown accustomed to the smells and sounds of the coffee shop. Sometimes when her daddy steeps the peppermint tea too long, it makes her nose itch, but, other than that, she likes hanging out at work. After all, she gets all the naps and attention a girl could ever want. Though she loves exploring the woods and seashore, her favorite part of day is strolling through the streets of Lavender Shores (more attention) then stopping off at the graveyard, where she listens to her daddy pass along all the town gossip. Every once in a while, she has to howl just a bit to remind him of a detail he forgot or didn’t get quite right. |
Charley Perez
1983- Parents: Angelo Perez and Isobel (Soto) Perez Siblings: Alex Perez, Dylan Perez Occupation: Owner of Charley’s Tavern Bio: Charley’s story is a common one for Lavender Shores. He drove through, stayed the night, then came back a month later to stay for good. What’s uncommon about Charley is that he stayed. Many people get captivated by Lavender Shores, but they quickly get disillusioned by small town life. Though his family thinks he’s crazy, the small town life fits him. And owning his own tavern instead of taking part of the family tradition of teachers and counselors suites him even better. The only drawback is Seth Marino, who resents having another bar in town to contend with. Seth drives Charley crazy, he’s too cocky and arrogant. But what drives Charley the most crazy? He thinks Seth is just as gorgeous as Seth does himself. |
Lamont Price
1975- Parents: Robert (Price) Kelly and Debbra Kelly Siblings: Heather Kelly and Andrew Kelly Occupation: Writer Bio: Lamont has always been looking for love. He doesn’t even remember his mother, she abandoned him and his father when Lamont was only months old. Even though his step-mother and step-sister, Debbra and Heather treat him as their blood, and his half-brother Andrew is one of his closest confidants, Lamont has always felt like the odd man out. Though he had a successful career as a ghostwriter, he gave up the money to write novels under his own name. However, his straight romance books simply aren’t catching fire with readers. His dad keeps urging him to write MM Romances. Lamont is seriously considering the idea, though he’s never had a real romance of his own. Maybe the saying ‘write what you know’ isn't a necessity. |
Brook (Rhodes)
2015- Parent: Joel Rhodes and Andrew Kelly Siblings: Robin and Morris Occupation: Listening for intruders into Sandy’s, his daddy’s sports memorabilia shop Bio: Brook may only have one ear, but that doesn’t mean he can’t be the best guard dog in town. It's a job he loves, and he considers it a way to pay back Joel for rescuing him. Sometimes, Robin is able to sneak up on him, having learned his weakness ages ago when they were in the animal shelter, but Morris is loud and clumsy, so he never catches Brook off guard. When he was rescued from his abusive family, Brook dreamed of having only one person care for him, someone calm and quiet. Instead, he got two daddies and two brothers. And he couldn’t be happier. |
Joel Rhodes
1982- Occupation: Next in line to inherit the Harvest Coffee Company Bio: Joel Rhodes is a man of commerce. As the son of a San Francisco business tycoon, it’s a role he’s been groomed for his entire life. Nothing and no one can come before Harvest Coffee, not his mother, not his hobbies, not his personal life, nothing. When he is sent to Lavender Shores to head the flagship store of Harvest Coffee’s new brand, all his years of loyalty to his father and endless hours of hard work are about to pay off. If he can get past the strict ordinances set up to regulate the businesses of Lavender Shores, he can take his rightful place as the next CEO of the Harvest Corporation. His time in the quaint, little town was supposed to be two, maybe three days, tops. He never dreamed that love might get in the way. Book: The Palisade |
Robin (Rhodes)
2013- Parent: Joel Rhodes and Andrew Kelly Siblings: Brook, Morris Occupation: Licking everything at Sandy’s, his dad’s sports memorabilia shop to make sure it’s tasty. . . he means not poisoned. Bio: He and his brother, Brook, might have been named after the Lopez twins who played in the NBA, but Robin’s never been good at running, his long tongue always gets in the way. In fact, he’s pretty sure that’s why his original owner put him in the pound. He was pretty bummed by that, but it turned out to be the best thing that could ever happen to him. He met his brother and off, Brook. In fact, Robin has a sneaking suspicion that his tongue was one of the reasons his new daddy, Joel, picked him out. Whatever the cause, Robin loves his two dads and his two brothers. Now, if only Robin could get Morris to stop stepping on his tongue while he tries to nap. |
Adrian Rivera
1985- Parents: Jack and Lucy Rivera Siblings: Amelia Rivera and Andre Rivera (twin) Occupation: Organic Farmer and part owner of The Green Violin (with Micah Bryant) Bio: He might be one of the members of the founding families, but don't expect Adrian to follow any rule or give a shit about expectation. He will do what he damn well pleases--even if it means he ends up with dirt under his nails. Though he never wanted fame, attention, or recognition of any kind, when love bites him, he gets all three--and he may not be able to handle the pressure. |
Andre Rivera
1985- Parents: Jack and Lucy Rivera Siblings: Amelia Rivera and Adrian Rivera (twin) Spouse: Meghan Rivera Children: Katniss Rivera Occupation: Pilot Bio: Though he's a member of a founding family, like his twin, Andre has never cared for the 'glory' of it all. Unlike his twin, he's not been willing to burn down bridges to avoid it. He's the master of compromisers. He met the love of his life, Meghan, when they were kids. He pictured spending the rest of his life with her, doing nothing more than growing old, having grandchildren, and simply enjoying the simple things. Life... has other plans. |
Fontaine (Rivera)
2020- Parent: Lucy Rivera Occupation: Fluff Ball and teacup accessory of the Founding Family Elite Bio: Fontaine has a taste for the finer things in life. Especially when her momma, Lucy, and her BFF/Friendime Kimberly Epstein get together for mimosa--things tend to get messy, both in terms of spilled alcohol, snacks, and gossip. Fontaine might be just a dog, but she's a Rivera, so that makes her better than all the rest... and she knows it. |
Jack Rivera
1957- Spouse: Lucy Rivera Children: Amelia Rivera, Adrian Rivera, and Andre Rivera Occupation: Doctor Bio: Jack takes a lot of pride in being a Rivera and his place in Lavender Shores. He has high exceptions and demands. However, he adores his children and grandchildren. He has a wonderful life in Lavender Shores. And... if sometimes, his wife gets a little carried away in the hoopla of it all, he knows its best to sit back and let the chips fall where they may. |
Katniss Rivera
2015- Parents: Andre and Meghan Rivera Bio: A true child of Lavender Shores. While she might be named for Katniss Everdeen (her mother LOVED the Hunger Games books), she's about the most gentle soul in the world. She's faced a lot of loss in her young life when her mother died when Katniss was around six years old. Luckily, she has a huge extended family in Lavender Shores and is loved and adored by all. |
Lucy (Mertz) Rivera
1960- Spouse: Jack Rivera Children: Amelia Rivera, Adrian Rivera, and Andre Rivera (and Fontaine) Occupation: Doctor Bio: Though she married into the role, Lucy relishes being a part of one of the five founding families of Lavender Shores. She takes equal pride in her education and profession... as well that the rest of her family is equally educated and/or prestigious (with one exception). She is classy, elegant, and loving. Sometimes, however, when she gets together with her BFF/Friendime, Kimberly Epstein, all that goes out the window and she might as well be the start of the Real Housewives of Lavender Shores. |
Meghan (Simon) Rivera
1988-2021 Spouse: Andre Rivera Children: Katniss Rivera Bio: Meghan met the love of her life when they were both kids, when she moved to Lavender Shores. She was kind, funny, fierce, and force to be reckoned with. She had it all. Love, a child, happiness, she was set. Life took her away too soon, and forced her to leave the ones she loved without any warning. Her impact in life is only rivaled by how greatly she is missed. |
Walden Thompson
1991- Parents: Beau Thompson and Shelby (Wilder) Thompson Occupation: High School Biology Teacher Bio: As a closeted teen from the south, Walden discovered Lavender Shores when his family passed through the town during vacations. He dreamed of one day of making his escape and starting fresh in the village that seemed like such a perfect haven for people like him. After finally leaving Louisiana, he took a detour to his fantasy by attending Stanford to get his masters in Biology and then hanging around just long enough to get his heart completely shattered by the man he planned on marrying. More than ever, Lavender Shores represents a chance to be free, be safe, and start over. The possibility of falling in love again wasn’t even a blip on his radar. |
Russell Wallace
1976- Occupation: Body Guard (sometimes to the stars) Bio: Russell followed every rule, never questioned, simply did was expected... what was right. Until, standing up for the right thing cost him quite literally everything. After all he built crumbled, he did his best to pick up the pieces. He did okay. If there are holes in life... well... he'll just have to manage. Nothing is perfect, right? Especially for men like him. When he get's a job protecting a geeky bookshop owner in Lavender Shores, he discovers just how much he really has been missing and how much he might have--if he can only hold onto it. |

She isn’t quite certain how she manages to get all the things done each and every day being the mother of three and a business owner. Her husband does help quite a bit, but often, as men can be, he’s not much more than a big child himself. However, she’s a member of a founding family. To hear her father tell it, that is a super power. |
Sapphire Wong
1956- Spouse: Mabel Jessup Children: None. Occupation: Owner of Lavender Petals Bio: Sapphire went to school with Mabel Jessup since they were in first grade. They were best friends.
